The Professional and Career Women Awards 2024 has recognised the achievements of 26 women, acknowledging their contributions to various fields across the Maldives.

The award, presented by Women in Management Maldives (WIM), aims to recognise and empower women who have made significant strides in their careers.

WIM, an international organisation dedicated to advancing women in leadership, established its presence in the Maldives in 2017, with a focus on empowering women in managerial and entrepreneurial roles.

This year, alongside honouring outstanding women for their contributions, the awards ceremony also recognised Care Society and Dhiraagu for their efforts in creating new opportunities for women.

Now in its sixth year, the Professional and Career Women Awards in the Maldives has recognised the achievements of over 170 women from diverse sectors such as banking, finance, hospitality, media, legal, and logistics. The event continues to highlight the remarkable work women are doing to break barriers and pave the way for future generations.
