President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has returned to Malé after concluding his visit to South Ariatholhu. During the tour, he met with Island Councils, Women’s Development Committees, and local leaders to discuss community priorities and ongoing projects.

Accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and senior officials, the President oversaw major initiatives across urbanisation, housing, education, health, and wellness, including the launch of Bank of Maldives ATM services on multiple islands. He also announced plans to submit 27 bills to Parliament in October and introduced a national-level initiative to revive the Maldivian tradition of respect.

The nationwide rollout of passport services was completed with the inauguration in ADh. Mahibadhoo on 7 October, ensuring all atolls have access. President Dr Muizzu reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to accessible public services and sustainable development, emphasising direct engagement with communities as a core priority.
