The newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to the Maldives, Dr Felix Neumann, has presented his Letter of Credence to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu. The ceremony took place on Thursday at the President’s Office.

Dr Neumann was escorted from Republic Square to the President’s Office in a traditional Haiykolhu cultural procession, accompanied by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Drum and Trumpet Band.

President Dr Muizzu formally accepted the credentials and extended a warm welcome to Dr Neumann as Ambassador of Germany to the Maldives.

In addition to his new post, Dr Neumann also serves as Germany’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka.
