National airline Maldivian has announced special round-trip fares for flights to Cochin and Trivandrum, operated using its Airbus A320 aircraft.

As part of the initiative, round-trip tickets to Cochin start at USD 176, while tickets to Trivandrum start at USD 232, the airline said.

Maldivian stated that the move is part of ongoing efforts to enhance services and strengthen connectivity between the Maldives and South India, positioning itself as a preferred carrier on these routes.

Passengers travelling under the new fares will also receive additional benefits, including a 20kg baggage allowance, complimentary hot meals and beverages in economy class, and 30kg baggage allowance, express check-in, and free date changes in Premium Economy class.
