The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure has signed an agreement with T.Y. Lin International (China) to provide consultancy services for the proposed Hithadhoo–Hulhudhoo–Meedhoo Link Bridge Project.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony held on Sunday at the ministry. Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Dr Abdulla Muthalib signed on behalf of the Government, while Chen Xiaohu, President of T.Y. Lin International, signed on behalf of the company.

Under the agreement, the company will be responsible for conducting surveys, preparing the bridge design, developing technical specifications, and drafting tender documents for the project.

The consultancy work, valued at USD 1.025 million, is expected to be completed within six months.
