President Dr Mohamed Muizzu extended heartfelt felicitations to the leaders of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the occasion of the country's 53rd National Day, celebrated on December 2nd.

In his messaged to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, as well as the Ruler of Dubai, President Dr Muizzu conveyed warm wishes for their health and well-being.

He also extended best wishes for the continued prosperity and progress of the UAE and its people.

The Maldivian President emphasised his Government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the longstanding, brotherly ties between the Maldives and the UAE.

Highlighting the importance of development cooperation, he reiterated the shared values and mutual respect that underpin the relationship between the two nations.

The UAE National Day, a celebration of unity and progress, commemorates the founding of the federation on December 2nd, 1971.
