Work has commenced on a new police station and Regional Emergency Operation Centre (REOC) in Hithadhoo, Addu City. The police station project, contracted to Fenaka Corporation, was inaugurated during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to Addu City

The REOC, contracted to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), aims to provide rapid assistance to the public during natural and other emergencies. Both projects form part of President Dr Muizzu’s vision to expand police services and enhance emergency response capabilities across the Maldives.
