Passport services have been extended to Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo, Maldives Immigration has announced.

Via its social media accounts, Maldives Immigration said passport services were introduced in Hanimadhoo as part of ongoing efforts to expand access nationwide.

The expansion forms part of the Government’s initiative to decentralise passport and national ID card services, bringing essential documentation services closer to island communities and reducing the need for residents to travel to Malé City.
