President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has expressed his condolences to the Government and people of Bangladesh following the passing of the country’s first female Prime Minister, Begum Khaleda Zia. 

In his message on X, President Dr Muizzu extended sympathy to the Bangladeshi nation as it mourns her loss and offered prayers for the bereaved family. He noted that this is a moment of deep grief for Bangladesh and expressed hope that Almighty Allah grants strength and patience to her loved ones during this time.
