Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has reported an income of MVR 501.2 million for the third quarter of 2025, according to the company’s latest financial disclosure. The figure reflects a slight increase of 2.2 per cent compared to the previous quarter, where revenue stood at MVR 490.3 million.

The company recorded a net profit of MVR 13.4 million for the quarter, while earnings before tax amounted to MVR 15.7 million. This marks a decline from the second quarter’s pre-tax earnings of MVR 33 million, indicating a reduction in overall profitability despite the rise in income.

MTCC stated that the majority of its revenue in Q3 was generated from land reclamation and construction projects, which contributed MVR 397 million. These activities remain the company’s primary income stream.

Operational records show that the company was engaged in 373 projects during the quarter, with six projects completedand 68 new projects initiated.

The company noted that income has risen steadily across the year, starting from MVR 418.4 million in Q1, reflecting ongoing activity across infrastructure and development sectors.
