Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has unveiled a new seaplane check-in area, offering passengers a more comfortable and premium travel experience. The fully air-conditioned and spacious facility is designed to enhance convenience and improve the overall start of journeys to destinations across the Maldives. The upgrade adds to a series of enhancements being introduced at Terminal 1 following its opening in July 2025 as part of efforts to modernise airport infrastructure and support the country’s growing tourism sector.
