Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched Ran Furusathu 2026, a Ramadan promotion offering customers the chance to win weekly prizes and a grand prize during the holy month.

According to the bank, the promotion will run from 10 January, to 19 March, 2026. Customers can participate by making transactions at participating shops using BML POS terminals, BML Static QR, or the BML Payment Gateway.

BML said multiple entries are allowed throughout the promotion period, provided transactions are made at participating outlets using eligible payment methods.

Under the weekly draw, five winners will be selected each week to receive gift cards worth MVR 2,000 each. Customers who spend a total of MVR 500 per week at participating shops will be eligible for the weekly prize draw.

At the end of the promotion, one winner will be selected to receive a grand prize gift card worth MVR 100,000. To qualify for the grand prize draw, customers must spend a total of MVR 10,000 during the promotion period.

BML said the Ran Furusathu 2026 promotion aims to encourage the use of digital payment solutions while rewarding customers during the Ramadan period.
