President Dr Mohamed Muizzu commenced a two-day tour of South Ari Atoll today, marking his latest stop in an extensive nationwide council consultation programme.

The President's itinerary includes visits to three islands – Dhan'gethi, Mahibadhoo, and Omadhoo – where he will hold discussions with local island councils and Women's Development Committees (WDC).

The visit forms part of a comprehensive nationwide tour during which the President has already held consultations with 185 local councils. These meetings aim to assess community needs, living conditions, and establish priorities for development projects across the archipelago.

A delegation of Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials is accompanying the President on his tour, which concludes tomorrow.
