First Lady Sajidha Mohamed visited the Good Market Sri Lanka Office on Monday, an organisation that supports inclusive and sustainable businesses by promoting ethical production and responsible consumption.

The visit was part of her official engagements during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s State Visit to Sri Lanka.

Held at 80 Club, the visit included a tour of exhibits featuring women-led businesses and community-based enterprises, ranging from sustainable food and wellness products to ethical fashion and lifestyle brands.

During the visit, the First Lady met with entrepreneurs and discussed issues related to small business development, sustainability, and social impact, as well as opportunities for collaboration between Maldivian and Sri Lankan businesses.

The engagement formed part of efforts to strengthen ties between the Maldives and Sri Lanka at both institutional and community levels.
