The Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade has announced that three additional services will be made available through the national single window platform Tradian from Sunday.

The ministry said applications for vessel declarations, fireworks import permits and flare import permits will be accessible through the platform under the new changes. The ministry stated that the move forms part of the Government’s digitalisation policy aimed at providing import and export-related services through a single online platform.

The first phase of the Tradian platform was launched on April 20, 2025, with the system designed to connect agencies involved in international trade and vessel clearance under a unified digital network to simplify and speed up processing procedures.

The ministry noted that while the new services will officially become available from Sunday, customers and stakeholders will continue to have the option of applying through both existing channels and the Tradian platform until June 10 to allow time for adaptation to the new system.
