Minister of Health, Family and Welfare Geela Ali and senior officials from the ministry visited Meemu Mulah Health Centre, where they met with staff to discuss ways to further strengthen healthcare services on the island.

The discussions focused on enhancing health services provided at the centre and addressing challenges in service delivery. During the visit, Minister Geela also met with Dr Neelam Dhingra, Vice President and Global Chief Patient Safety Officer at Joint Commission International (JCI), to discuss collaboration on advancing patient safety and healthcare quality in the Maldives as the country works towards JCI accreditation.
