The Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Ocean Resources has opened registration for the second stakeholder consultation on recreational fishing as work continues to develop a management plan and regulations for the sector.

The consultation, which will be held in Malé, is open to individuals involved in recreational fishing from across the Maldives. The ministry said it will cover travel expenses for participants attending the meeting.

Registration will remain open until 2 August. Interested participants can apply through the designated registration link or by scanning the QR code shared on the ministry's social media platforms.
