PCB appoints new board members to four State-owned companies

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has appointed new members to the boards of four State-owned companies, including the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Island Aviation Services Limited, Maldives Hajj Corporation and Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC).
Under the appointments, Abdulla Yameen joins the board of Maldives Hajj Corporation, Maeesha Ibrahim has been appointed to the board of HDC, Shahid Moosa to the board of Island Aviation Services Limited, and Ahmed Mazin to the board of FDC.
The appointments were announced by the PCB, which is responsible for constituting the boards of State-owned enterprises.
The latest appointments follow the board's ongoing oversight of State-owned companies, with directors selected to serve on the governing bodies responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and corporate governance of the respective enterprises.
