Bank of Maldives (BML) has been confirmed as the exclusive banking partner for the Maldives Half Marathon 2026, following the signing of an agreement with event organiser iRunners.

The marathon is set to take place on 14 August at Hulhumalé Central Park, with more than 2,000 runners expected to participate across eight race categories, including the half marathon, 15-kilometre and 10-kilometre races, a 5-kilometre fun run, a wheelchair race, the Kids Mile and a family run.

As part of the event programme, iRunners will also hold a three-day exhibition at the Hulhumalé Running Track from 11 to 13 August, ahead of race day.

The event will also support environmental conservation, with a portion of registration proceeds allocated to Save the Beach under its Protect the Reef campaign.
