Judicial Service Commission appoints Amjad Mustafa as Chief Judicial Administrator

Amjad Mustafa has been appointed as the Chief Judicial Administrator of the Department of Judicial Administration, which is responsible for overseeing the judiciary's administrative functions.
His appointment was made by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) following a selection process involving interviews with candidates who had applied for the position.
The vacancy arose after the resignation of Aishath Rizna in September of last year. According to the JSC, Amjad was the highest-scoring candidate among the applicants when the position was opened.
Amjad holds a degree in Shariah and Law from the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) and later pursued a degree in Business and Administration from Anglia Ruskin University in the United Kingdom.
His professional background includes serving as the President of the Employment Tribunal, Vice President of the Election Commission, and a member of the Maldives Tourism Development Board.
