The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has announced that Maldivian businesses will have the opportunity to take part in the Kish Expo, scheduled to be held in Iran from 9–14 December.

According to the Ministry, the Iranian government has extended the invitation, and the exhibition will take place at the Kish International Exhibition Centre. The six-day event is recognised as one of Iran’s largest trade and economic platforms.

Designated areas for Maldivian participation include tourism, construction, agriculture and food, banking services, health and handicrafts. Exhibitors approved for the event will be provided with a complimentary three-night stay in Iran.

Kish Expo, held annually on Kish Island, provides a platform for showcasing products and services, attracting investment, and building international partnerships.
