Minister of Education Dr Ismail Sahfeeu has visited the newly constructed Shaheed Ali School in Hulhumalé Phase 2 to review preparations ahead of its opening. The school has been built to meet the needs of the rapidly growing population in the area. Speaking to the media during his visit, the Minister confirmed that the school will open as planned for the 2026 academic year. He noted that more than 1,800 students have already enrolled, with registrations still ongoing. The school comprises five levels and 50 classrooms, designed to accommodate the large intake of students. Construction work has been completed, with final preparations now underway to begin operations.
