Maldivian has dismissed rumours circulating on social media claiming that it plans to introduce alcohol services on its flights.

In a statement, the airline urged the public not to share unverified information, stressing that the claims are false. The airline noted that such misinformation has caused concern among the public and could undermine trust in the company.

Maldivian further emphasised the importance of responsible information sharing, warning that the spread of false claims can negatively impact public confidence and social stability.

As the national airline of the Maldives, Maldivian said it remains committed to expanding its services and strengthening its operations.
