President reaffirms commitment to strengthening public institutions on UN Public Service Day

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has reaffirmed the Government's commitment to strengthening public institutions and supporting public servants who serve with integrity and excellence, in a message marking United Nations Public Service Day.

In a post shared on X, President Dr Muizzu honoured the dedication and resolute efforts of public servants, stating that they work tirelessly towards the betterment of societies, the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the safeguarding of communities around the world.

The President said the Government remains committed to strengthening public institutions and supporting those who serve with integrity and excellence.

President Dr Muizzu also expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the public servants and institutions of the Maldives for their steadfast dedication and unwavering service to public welfare.

United Nations Public Service Day is observed annually on 23 June to recognise the contributions of public servants and the importance of public service in supporting communities and development.
