Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has launched its Vendor Platform, introducing a fully digital procurement system aimed at improving efficiency, transparency and accessibility for suppliers.

The new platform standardises vendor registration and evaluation, making it easier for both local and international businesses to participate in VMC's procurement process.

Through the platform, vendors can create and manage company profiles, register online, submit required documents, receive requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs) and procurement invitations, as well as receive automated notifications about new procurement opportunities.

The platform also enables secure online document submission and allows suppliers to update their information electronically, reducing paperwork and administrative processing time.

VMC said the digital system is designed to simplify vendor registration, improve communication with suppliers and ensure greater transparency and equal access throughout the procurement process.

The corporation has encouraged existing and prospective local and international suppliers to register on the platform and take advantage of future procurement opportunities.
