Minister of arts, Culture and Heritage, Heena Waleed, has been introduced to the 'Cultural Journey' programme organised annually by Villa International High School.

The programme was presented to the minister during her visit to Villa College yesterday. The visit was attended by the college's Rector, Dr Ahmed Anwar, senior officials of the college, and Dhivehi teachers from the school.

Villa College said the 'Cultural Journey' programme is a history- and culture-focused initiative designed to foster students' interest in the Dhivehi subject while strengthening their understanding and appreciation of the Dhivehi language and cultural heritage.

The college said this year marks the 13th year the programme has been conducted.

During the visit, discussions were also held between the Ministry of arts, Culture and Heritage, and Villa College on ways to further promote arts and culture through the education sector.
