Passport services will remain available through Maldives Immigration offices in the Greater Malé Region and Addu City during the Independence Day public holidays.

Although Government offices will be closed on 26 and 27 July, applications for the 24-hour passport service can still be submitted through the Imuga portal, Maldives Immigration said.

Passport collection services will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Malé and Addu offices during the holidays. The Hulhumalé office will provide the service from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Applicants can collect their passports by making an appointment through the QueueBee application or by visiting an Immigration office to obtain a queue number.

Maldives Immigration also said passport services can be arranged in medical emergencies by calling 9555333.
