Eydhafushi claimed the title of champions in the '90 Plus Gold Cup 2024' football tournament, held at the National Football Stadium on December 24, 2024.

The team secured their victory with a commanding 2-0 win over Addu City in an intense final match.

The closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, who presented the champion team with medals and trophies. During the event, the President also signed the football used to score the final goal.

The '90 Plus Gold Cup 2024' was a privately organised tournament open to teams from across the Maldives. The competition, which began on November 20, brought together 17 teams from different regions of the country. It served as an important platform for young and emerging players to showcase their talent alongside some of the best players from the first division of Maldivian football.
