A man was found collapsed and injured near Senahiya Hospital in the Henveiru district of Male’ City on the morning of January 15.

Police received reports of the incident earlier during the day. According to the police, the individual is a Maldivian male, but no further identifying details have been disclosed. He was discovered on Raiyvilla Hingun, the road behind Senahiya Hospital, with visible injuries.

The man was transferred to Senahiya Hospital for treatment. However, the police have not shared details about the nature or extent of his injuries or how they might have been sustained.

The area where the man was found has been cordoned off, with police officers actively investigating the case.
