President Dr Mohamed Muizzu toured the Estonian National Museum in Tartu on Wednesday, as part of his official visit to Estonia.
The President received a warm welcome from Dr Kertu Saks, the Museum's Director, who then guided him through the museum’s "Encounters" exhibition, offering a glimpse into Estonia’s rich history and cultural heritage. Following the tour, President Dr Muizzu signed the visitor’s book.
Founded in 1909, the Estonian National Museum (ERM) is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history, culture, and traditions of the Estonian people. Its exhibitions cover a broad range of topics, from ancient history to contemporary developments, with an emphasis on cultural identity, heritage, and modern technological progress.
This visit to the National Museum is one of the highlights of President Dr Muizzu's ongoing official trip to Estonia, where he is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including members of the Maldivian tech community.
