The Maldives' largest creative exhibition to date, ‘Dhiveheenge Ufehdhuntherikamuge Mauraz 2025’ (Maldives Expo 2025) will run from 23 to 31 May at Hulhumale’ Central Park.
The event, initiated under President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's direction, aims to boost national productivity and expand business opportunities across the archipelago.
The Business Centre Corporation (BCC) will leverage the exhibition as a platform to connect local businesses and artists, facilitating networking between small enterprises and established businesses whilst promoting local artistic talent.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, which is organising the exhibition in partnership with BCC, has highlighted its potential as a global showcase for Maldivian creativity. The exhibition will feature works across various sectors, offering participants an international platform for their innovations.
Interest in the event has been strong, with BCC receiving 67 applications representing 93 products since registration opened in November last year. Applications remain open for additional participants.
Dhivehi Raajjeyge Ufehdhuntheringe Mauraz, Expo2025 marks a significant step in the Government's efforts to strengthen the creative sector, focusing on skill development and business expansion. It offers a competitive platform open to participants from across all Maldivian atolls, reflecting the nation's diverse creative landscape.
