The Ministry of Social and Family Development has launched a five-day training programme to enhance the performance of staff working across the country's social service institutions. 

Running from January 19 to January 23, 2025, the initiative is focused on assistant directors, budgetary staff, Fiyavathi workers, and administrative staff from Israhvvehinge Naadhee and Villigili social centres, as well as family and children service centres throughout the nation.

The training aims to improve staff understanding of public finance regulations, equipping them with the skills necessary to provide better services to the public. By focusing on financial management and legal frameworks, the programme seeks to strengthen the overall efficiency of social services, ensuring that institutions operate in compliance with national regulations.

According to the Ministry, a total of 62 participants are involved in the programme, which will enhance their ability to deliver quality services across various sectors.
