The Parliament approved four Ministers after President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s Cabinet reshuffle, finalised on 20 January 2025. The reshuffle included disbanding the Ministry of Housing, Land, and Urban Development, redistributing its responsibilities to the Ministries of Finance and Construction. The re-appointed Ministers are Moosa Zameer (Finance and Planning), Dr Abdulla Muththalib (Construction, Housing, and Infrastructure), Dr Ali Haidar (Higher Education, Labour, and Skills Development), and Dr Maryam Mariya (Agriculture and Animal Welfare).
