SME Digital has officially launched its new “SME360” brand campaign aimed at strengthening support and awareness for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Maldives.
The campaign was launched during the Addu Business Dialogue forum held in Addu City and was inaugurated by Economic Development, Transport and Trade Minister Mohamed Saeed.
According to SME Digital, the campaign seeks to raise awareness about the financing solutions and support services available for SMEs while strengthening engagement between the institution, entrepreneurs and local communities.
As part of the initiative, SME Digital will conduct workshops and outreach programmes across different atolls to provide entrepreneurs with practical business guidance, industry information and exposure to new opportunities. The campaign will also feature a dedicated podcast series highlighting the experiences and journeys of local entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Speaking at the launch, SME Digital CEO Badhurudheen Hassan said the SME360 campaign reflects the institution’s vision of becoming a trusted one-stop platform for SME financing and support services nationwide.He noted that the campaign was launched in Addu City due to its importance as a growing business hub in the Maldives.
According to Badhurudheen, SME Digital has so far provided more than MVR 144 million in financing support to 134 small businesses in Addu City.
SME Digital is also participating in discussions at the Addu Business Dialogue forum, which focuses on the growth and development of small businesses in the Maldives.
