A detailed archaeological study has commenced on Kaashidhoo in Malé Atoll, more than five years after the site’s initial discovery in 2020. The project, led by the Ministry of Language, Culture and Heritage in collaboration with international and local experts, focuses on unearthing and preserving artefacts, including the historic Eveylaa tharaha. This initiative aims to enhance heritage management skills among participants, contributing to the preservation of the Maldives’ rich cultural history.
