President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has dismissed Ibrahim Faisal from his position as Minister of Tourism.

The announcement was made by the President's Office on Tuesday, though specific reasons for the dismissal were not disclosed.

In the interim, the responsibilities of the Ministry of Tourism have been assigned to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, who will oversee its operations until a new appointment is made.
