The Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development has announced that it is accepting 556 applicants for partial funding scholarships across several programmes.

The programmes will be offered in Malaysia, and the discounts will apply to undergraduate, post-graduate, and foundation level programmes.

Applicants must not have completed a programme at the same or higher level as the desired programme and they must not have defaulted on any previous financial assistance provided by the Ministry or other higher education funding bodies.

Furthermore, applicants should not currently be receiving a loan from the Ministry or be within the scheduled disbursement period specified in any signed loan agreement.

The Ministry signed an MoU with Education Malaysia global service (EMGS) last September with the aim of increasing the education and training opportunities available for Maldivians.
