President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has ratified the Third Amendment to the Maldives Immigration Act, banning entry to Israeli passport holders in response to Israel's genocide against Palestinians. The amendment, proposed by MP Meekail Ahmed Naseem, was unanimously passed by the ruling People's National Congress (PNC). The ban applies exclusively to Israeli passports and does not affect dual nationals using other travel documents.
