President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed greetings on International Mother’s Day. 

Mother’s Day is being celebrated globally today. 

On the occasion, President Dr Muizzu shared a post on X, conveying Mother’s Day greetings to all mothers. 

President Dr Muizzu stated that Mother’s Day reminds us of the invaluable sacrifices by mothers everywhere and the boundless love they embody. He further emphasised that mothers are the true heroes behind the many successes we see in the world. 

Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May in many countries, including the United States, Malaysia, India, and several parts of Europe.

This day is celebrated to recognise and appreciate the countless sacrifices that mothers make for their children
