Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has announced its support for a major four-city roadshow in India, organised by Tatabye Maldives. Held from May 12–16 in Cochin, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, the event connects 22 Maldivian resorts with over 100 travel agents in each city. Aimed at boosting tourism and trade ties, the roadshow promotes the Maldives as a top destination for luxury, weddings, and business travel. MMPRC CEO Ibrahim Shiuree highlighted its strategic importance, as India ranks sixth in tourist arrivals to the Maldives in 2025, with over 46,000 visitors recorded by May 11.
