The Maldives Police Service has reported the seizure of 36 bottles of liquor during a patrol in Hulhumalé Phase One.

According to police, the bottles were discovered on July 19 during a search of unattended bags found near the Hulhumalé Rashu Market. The bags were located on the ground and inspected by officers on routine patrol.

No arrests have been made so far, and police confirmed that an investigation is ongoing.
