National development takes precedence over political ideology: President

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has affirmed that his Administration remains committed to national development, stating that political differences will not obstruct efforts to deliver essential public services.
The President made these remarks while engaging with residents of Kudafari Island during his visit to the island as part of his ongoing tour of Noonu Atoll. He added that his Administration’s policy is to avoid letting political disputes interfere with serving the people.
In this regard, he emphasised that the Government’s development agenda will prioritise community needs, ensuring they are equitably implemented across the nation. He added that his policy is to work closely with the community, listen to their concerns, prioritise their needs, and take sustainable actions for the betterment of the nation.
Speaking to Noonu Kudafari residents, the President assured them that development projects in the island will move forward without political bias.
He highlighted the progress of the ongoing projects in the island and noted that the construction of the new school building in Kudafari is nearing completion. He added that an additional six classrooms and a dedicated laboratory will be added to the school to enable the provision of A-Level studies through the State budget for next year. The President also announced plans to establish a modern, soundproof powerhouse at the existing generator facility in the island.
During the visit, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu also met with the Kudafari Island Council, the Women’s Development Committee, and other institutional leaders to discuss key issues affecting the community.
