Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Maldives for a state visit, his first since beginning a third term, at the invitation of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu. President Dr Muizzu personally welcomed PM Modi at Velana International Airport. The visit coincides with the Maldives’ 60th Independence Day and the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, and will include high-level talks and signing of key agreements.
