Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Disanayaka will make his first state visit to the Maldives from 28 to 30 July, at the invitation of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu. The visit coincides with the 60th anniversary of Maldives–Sri Lanka diplomatic relations, established on 26 July 1965. During the trip, the two leaders will engage in formal talks to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
