Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has secured first place in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament of the Ooredoo Nation Inter-Office eSports Championship 2025.

The annual competition, now in its second edition, aimed at promoting eSports participation among employees of Maldivian companies. MACL emerged as the winner in the MLBB category after a series of matches against nine teams representing five major companies.

MACL, which employs one of the largest workforces in the country, said it encourages its staff to take part in sporting and competitive events to strengthen teamwork and foster connections across different organisations.

The Ooredoo Nation Inter-Office eSports Championship 2025 was held from 7 to 15 August, bringing together professionals from across the country for a week of competitive gaming.
