The Election Commission has announced plans to recruit more than 260 employees to support the administration of the upcoming local council elections and women’s development committee elections.

According to the commission, the recruitment drive is aimed at filling a wide range of positions required for the electoral process. These include officers, senior officers, drivers, maintenance officers, security officers and workers.

In addition, the commission is seeking to appoint Logistics Officers, Assistant Master Trainers, Content Creators, Graphics Designers, Technology Officers, Photographers and Office Assistants.

The local council elections and the women’s development committee elections are the two largest polls in the country. The Election Commission has stated that preparations are under way to hold both elections early next year.
