President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed two new members to the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).

The oath of office was administered to Mohamed Shafeeq Mahmood and Ahmed Maqsoom by Supreme Court Justice, Honourable Uz Mohamed Saleem, during a ceremony held at the President’s Office.

The appointments follow the conclusion of the terms of two former members of the Commission.
