Bank of Maldives (BML), in partnership with Total Fitness Group (TFG), concluded this year’s Wow Kidz Run in Hulhumalé on 12 September, with more than 1,000 children participating across four age categories.

Now in its tenth year, the run featured four age categories: 2–3 years, 4–6 years, 7–9 years, and 10–16 years. Children in the youngest groups completed their runs with a parent, while older participants covered longer distances ranging from two to four kilometres. Activity stations along the routes added interactive elements to encourage engagement and fun.

All children who crossed the finish line received medals, which were presented by BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, and senior officials of the bank.

The BML Wow Kidz Run has become one of the most anticipated family sporting events in the Maldives. Organisers said the aim is to highlight the importance of physical activity and healthy living, while inspiring families to adopt more active lifestyles.
