President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has announced that civil service, judicial, and council employees who have not yet received a salary adjustment will receive it under the pay harmonisation framework from 1 November this year.

In a post shared on his official X account on Sunday, the President reaffirmed his commitment, noting that the salary increases are in line with the pledges outlined in his 2025 Presidential Address.

He added that while pay harmonisation for the remaining categories of employees will take effect this year, salaries of other institutions not included in the 2025 adjustment will be harmonised in 2026.

The pay harmonisation initiative aims to close wage disparities across public institutions and align Government salaries with evolving economic conditions.
