President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has inspected the development site of the upcoming National Surfing Stadium in Malé City, underscoring his Administration’s pledge to enhance sports infrastructure across the country.

The visit took place on 2 October at Varunulaa Raalhugandu, the capital’s premier surfing and bodyboarding hub located near the Sinamalé Bridge.

Accompanied by Minister of Sports and Fitness Abdulla Rafiu, the President reviewed the project plans for the international-standard venue. The design features include a spectator stand, rostrum, media zone, commentary box, camera deck, observation point, gym, terrace, multipurpose hall and conference hall.
